Overview
Imran Nating is the Founder and Managing Partner of INP, graduated from Universitas Hassanuddin with bachelor of law degree and has obtained his master of law from Universitas Indonesia. He is known as one of the most respected and expert lawyer in bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment, real estate, and corporate commercial in Indonesia. With more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer, he has broad and extensive experience in advising and handling complex both litigation (including arbitration in BANI Arbitration Centre) and non-litigation legal cases. He also has represented state-owned enterprise, regional-owned enterprise, and private company in several complex legal cases. Out of his lawyering experiences, he was active as a speaker in several workshop and seminar on bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment issue, and also as a lecture in several legal training.
Representative Cases
In addition to his extensive experience in advising and solving many complex legal issues, he has also made his mark in bankruptcy and suspension debt payment practice area as receiver and administrator in several complex bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment cases. In suspension of debt payment cases, he has been appointed as administrator in suspension of debt payment case of PT Bumi Resources Tbk, PT Sentul City Tbk, PT Mahkota Sentosa Utama (Meikarta’s Project Owner), and PT Indofarma Tbk. In bankruptcy case, he has been appointed by Surabaya Commercial Court as PT Merpati Nusantara Airline’s Receiver, a state-owned airline enterprise of Indonesia, and as Receiver in several bankruptcy cases that involved private companies as debtor.

Besides his extensive and diverse experiences as a lawyer, Imran Nating also active in several organizations, which is proven that he was a Secretary General of Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI) 2013-2019 Period, Chairman of Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (AKPI) 2022-2025 Period, Vice Chairman of DPC PERADI Jakarta Selatan, Vice Chairman of DPP Asosiasi Advokat Indonesia 2022-2027 Period, and Honorary Council of Financial Sector Legal Consultants Association (HKHSK) 2024-2027 Period.
